Solution Specialist (W/M) - Bertrange (Luxembourg)

Your Responsibilities

    • Providing overall guidance, structure and authority for the creation and maintenance of solutions. Owner of the technical ‘release train’ / upgrade cycle for a solution
    • Responsible for providing the specification of technologies, application architectures and data structures as a basis for application development or customization
    • Responsible for producing and maintaining all design documentation in line with Solution and/or Infrastructure Architecture standards
    • Responsible for endorsing solution’s design for deployment into the Production environments.
    • Manage application development
    • DB Knowledge
    • Ensure level 2 support as required for the responsible solutions area
    • Architecture design and maintenance

Main tasks and responsibilities

    • Act as the key systems authority for assigned local business solutions
    • Guarantee all work is compliant with internal and external audit requirements and complies with financial legislative requirements (e.g. statutory, reporting, tax etc)
    • Design the technical details of the application
    • Create design documents: high level functional and non-functional design as technical design specifications
    • Work with project managers to ensure designs and technical deliverables meet project objectives
    • Monitor technical activity within projects, highlighting major issues and formulating solutions
    • Provide level 2 (application level) support as required for the responsible solutions area
    • Being point of contact for IT related matters for all colleagues in Luxemburg

Your Profile

    • You are fluent in both French and English. Knowledge of Dutch is an asset,
    • You have a Bachelor's degree and a first similar experience,
    • You are oriented problem analysis and resolution,
    • You are curious about the environment in which you operate, and you adapt easily to all types of situations and stakeholders,
    • You are autonomous and you like to work in a team,
    • Technically you have a good knowledge of the following elements:
        • Front-end dev frameworks (incl. specifically Windev)
        • Database design and implementation (Oracle,…)
        • Interfaces design and implementation (API…)
