About the role
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced business development recruiter with a strong background in life sciences. You will either have experience working with pharmaceutical companies or medical devices and be readily available to recruit into either one of these fields.
This role is ideal for someone with hunger, ambition, and the intuitive intelligence needed to lead client meetings and drive the growth of this specialist market in London. You will be hands-on, thriving on business development, cold calling, and client interactions, while also establishing your own successful desk.

You will as part of a larger team but work directly with Amy, the Business Manager, Ilenia, a Recruitment Consultant, and Olivia our Associate Consultant. The team are the epitome of work hard play hard, and welcome anyone who wants to join a fruitful and rewarding team!
What you'll be doingBusiness Development:
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating credibility and expertise to secure business.
- Follow client strategies closely, ensuring trust and consistency through regular sales calls and networking.
- Conduct market mapping to identify and capitalize on all potential opportunities.
Candidate Management:
- Develop a robust talent pool through comprehensive market mapping to present top-tier candidates to clients.
- Oversee the candidate sourcing process, including screening, arranging interviews, and managing feedback.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with candidates, including post-placement support and administration.
