We are currently looking for highly motivated and talented professionals to join our Finance team in the position of RTR Accountant.

Mission:

As an RTR Accountant you will contribute to the smooth operation of the financial accounting and reporting processes. Your responsibilities will include maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, and supporting the month-end close activities. You will be an essential part of the accounting team, ensuring that financial data is reliable and compliant with established standards. Within this position you report to the Accounting Manager.

Sofia, Bulgaria

Core Responsibilities:

•    Recording journal entries
•    Reconciling sub-ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
•    Taking part in month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing accruals and reconciling accounts 
•    Identifying and resolving discrepancies, and performing data validations to ensure data integrity
•    Collaborating with the team to process intercompany transactions and assist in period-end reporting 
•    Participating in financial analysis and reporting tasks as needed 
•    Assisting in implementing and improving accounting processes and procedures 
•    Contributing to various ad-hoc projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications & Experience:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in Finance & Accounting, or a related field    
•    1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably with exposure to General Ledger activities 
•    Fluent Professional English (written & spoken)
•    Second language – German / French / Italian / Spanish is a strong advantage
•    Familiarity with accounting principles and standards (GAAP/IFRS)
•    Experience working with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
•    Ability to demonstrate persistency and adapt to change
•    Well-organized and result driven mindset with excellent communication skills
•    Problem-solving with strong analytical skills
